International participation
As every year, it is my mission and pleasure to invite you to the XXIIInd Edition of the National Congress of the Romanian Society of Ophthalmology, with international participation, Sinaia 2025, a landmark scientific event within our community.
We are trying to keep alive the tradition of the previous 22 congresses, and bring to your attention topics from all fields of ophthalmology, from refraction, cornea, cataract, glaucoma, to the posterior pole, pediatric ophthalmology and strabology. Foreign guests will honor our invitation to hold lectures and presentations on attractive, current topics.
We hope that this year, as we have done every year, the program put together by the Scientific Committee of the Congress will live up to your expectations, bringing the latest updates in ophthalmology and stimulating interactive discussions.
In terms of optimizing communication flows and conditioning for an environment-friendly system, we have integrated the program for generating participation certificates in the site, so that we bring back to the knowledge of the esteemed participants the OBLIGATION to keep the identification received from the event secretariat in order to remedy any possible subsequent situations . We also remind you that the programs and information related to the event can be accessed by scanning the QR codes on all the marketing elements of the event, including your badges.
The Romanian Society of Ophthalmology will always be a reliable partner and we want, through all our actions, to contribute successfully to what you undertake in your day-to-day activity.

Casino Sinaia – Teatru Hall
Located in the northern part of the “Dimitrie Ghica” park, the “Casino” in Sinaia is also one of the edifices – symbol of the resort. The imposing building was built in record time, in just one year (1911-1912), on the site where the villa Ghica once stood, the resort’s first villa, built by Prince Dimitrie Ghica.
Casino Palace has hosted the National Congress of Ophthalmology since 1999. It is a complex space dedicated to large-scale events, with multiple spaces, which supports the structure of the congress: the amphitheater hall for the sections dedicated to symposia and “free paper” works, large spaces (Hall of Mirrors , Bacara room, Colonade) for the organization of the exhibition, other rooms for holding other sessions (Ferdinand Room).
The XXIII-th edition which starting with 2001 reunites all proffesionals from Ophtalmology field. .
During the these 4 day, the auditory has the chance to be presented with a series of scientific papers.
